The CEP expanded its Academic Detailing Service to serve Ontario primary care nurse practitioners in addition to family physicians.
2021
The CEP launched the Evidence2Practice program focused on designing easy-to-use digital tools and implementation supports that seamlessly integrate the most up-to-date and relevant evidence and quality standards into front-line clinical systems across Ontario.
2017
The CEP initiated an Academic Detailing Service for Ontario family physicians.
2012
The CEP partnered with the Ontario Renal Network to develop and implement a strategic framework for primary care provider engagement, including designing a mentoring network and EMR forms.
2010
The CEP, with support of the Ontario Agency for Health Protection and Promotion, developed and implemented an educational strategy, responding to pH1N1 in a primary care setting.
2008
The CEP became an independent not-for-profit organization. The Guidelines Advisory Committee joined the CEP.
2007
The CEP led first provincial pilot program on academic detailing, the Best9 Practice Support Program, where 180 providers received academic detailing visits on type 2 diabetes.

The CEP established as part of U of T's Department of Family and Community Medicine
