In case you missed them, we’ve recorded our long-term care webinars

Near the end of 2016, more than 70 individuals participated in our long-term webinars. Hosted by our academic detailers, they presented to providers, caregivers and residents’ families about appropriate prescribing in long-term care.

During the online presentation sessions, our detailers shared information and expertise about the following topics:

1. Falls prevention and mobility enhancement
2. The role of antipsychotics in the management of behaviour and psychological symptoms of dementia
3. How antipsychotic medications are used to help people with dementia
