EMR roundtable meetings

Centre for Effective Practice brought together a diverse group of thought leaders with expertise in eHeatlh and electronic medical records (EMRs) to participate in two roundtable conversations. The main goal of the meetings was to “identify challenges and opportunities to improve the uptake of evidence-based tools, such as clinical practice guidelines, by physicians and other primary care providers by focusing on electronic medical records.” Common themes of discussion as well as a number of potential projects and strategies were identified and are summarized in the final report.
